CMS-PTO Parent Talk: “Constructive Conversations” – Speaker: Elisabeth Stitt @ Thursday, March 4 @6pm

Sick of kids’ back talk and constant negotiations? Learn how to teach your teens to communicate constructively and find win-win solutions.
Today’s tweens and teens are master wheedlers. They’ll push and push and push until they get their own way. In the end, that doesn’t serve them. Or you. They get a warped sense of their own importance in the family, and you feel resentful because you have lost your parental authority. Now you can go from combative to collaborative. Learn communication techniques you can both model and teach to your kids, so that your exchanges invite more cooperation and mutual interest in creating a happy, harmonious home.
